Duplicate Shard Policy

We know that luck isn't always on your side. The Duplicate Shard Policy protects you from extended unlucky streaks by ensuring that you don't receive too many consecutive duplicate shards of a given rarity. The thresholds for each shard rarity are defined accordingly:

Shard Rarity	Guaranteed New After
⭐ 1-Star	10 duplicate shards
⭐⭐ 2-Star	8 duplicate shards
⭐⭐⭐ 3-Star	6 duplicate shards
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4-Star	4 duplicate shards
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star	2 duplicate shards

How the Thresholds Work

• The game counts how many consecutive duplicates you have received for each shard rarity during the active Collection event.
• If you hit the consecutive duplicate threshold for one of the rarities, the next time a crystal ball contains a shard of that rarity, it is guaranteed to be new (unless you have already collected all of them).
• When you receive a new shard (either by luck or guarantee), the counter for that rarity resets to zero.
• Consecutive duplicate tracking resets at the start of every new Collection event.
